Manual Lymph Drainage
Lymph is a colourless fluid that drains through the lymphatic system and into the bloodstream acting as a kind of filter. Manual Lymph Drainage (MLD) stimulates the movement of lymph in the body thereby removing congestion and stagnation of lymph in the body. For example, if someone has swollen legs there is an excess accumulation of lymph in this area. MLD can decrease the swelling and give alleviation from this pressure pain.
